Postdoctoral Resarch Opportunities
The Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at Oxford funds postdoctoral positions to apply AI to research in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Please get in touch if you are interested in submitting an application with our group. More information can be found here.
DPhil (PhD) Applicants
If you are interested in doing a DPhil (the Oxford term for a PhD) with us, please note that you need to apply through and follow the admission requirements and deadlines set by the university. Some of the programs you can apply to are:
- EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Autonomous Intelligent Machines and Systems (AIMS CDT)
- DPhil in Computer Science
We are closely linked with the Torr Vision and OATML groups at Oxford, and co-supervision with these groups could be possible. Checking the contact details and requirements for these groups would be a good idea.
For information on fees, funding, and scholarships, a good place to start from is here.
ELLIS PhD Program
Güneş is a member of the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS) Oxford Unit, and co-supervision of students in the ELLIS PhD Program is possible. Please get in touch if interested.
Students Already at Oxford
If you are currently enrolled as a student at the University of Oxford and are looking for a project in the areas of AI for science, probabilistic programming, or differentiable programming, please get in touch. Usually there are a number of projects available that are suitable for undergraduate, master’s, and DPhil levels (CDT mini-projects).
